So I know that recently I have been on the down low as far as publicizing all the new things that have been recently happening to the organization. First thing first is our name change! I decided to move Vandal to 4E, due to the overwhelming amount of current players with the name Vandal. People brought it up to me that it would be a could idea to change names as soon as possible, so I did. I would like to get into more detail about our other issues and announcements. One being the old, and of course the new CS 1.6 team, and some more CS:Source updates.

As for the old CS 1.6 team, they unfortunately realized it was summer, and ended turning it down a notch for the rest of the season. They professionally came to me and told me their situation. They realized that most organizations wouldn't want a team not dedicating themselves to the current season. So the best of luck to them, and I hope they are back next season. Although we quickly found a new CS 1.6 team Swindled. A bunch of great guys who are in CAL-IM sitting at a current record of 10-2. They most recently won a double header against Apex 5 and Nog Bombz. As their season continues, more updates are bound to come; so keep checking in l?cheln

The CS:Source team is still preparing for next season of CAL-IM and CEVO-A/M. We may be semi-revamping our roster, although nothing is final as of now. People are going inactive due to college, and work becoming more and more important. So we have a few more weeks to get things straightened out before things get going. We are looking forward to the next seasons, and are expecting to do much better then our most recent inactive season.

Vandal Welcomes CS and CSS!
Posted by: tommeH

Welcome to the new website for Team Vandal, and up and coming organization filled with some of the best competitive players. As of right now, we have two main teams competing under the Vandal organization and are more than glad to announce them and allow them to play as Vandal. Team Overcharge, also known as Team Veneration as the Counter-Strike: Source division, as well as Team Extraordinary as our Counter Strike 1.6 division.

The newly picked up 1.6 team, Extraordinary, is currently CAL Main for and has rolled the competition in Open for s20 with a 9-3 record. Heading into Intermediate for s21, they were able to give themselves an 11-6 record. Currently standing at a positive 4-3 record and ranked 35th out of 94 teams in CAL Main, the team is quite talented and has the potential to move on and do great things within the organization. Personally, I feel that is exactly what they will do.

The Source team has been together for quite a while now with a consistent roster (Jayel, Woot4Moo, Madman90, Neor, Empire, and maskMedia). Being a LAN team with experience at such locations as G3GC in Elmhurst, Queens; Web2Zone in Manhattan; and more individual experience, Vandal.css is currently looking forward to competing in CAL Intermediate and CEVO Main. With a lot of talent in these pools, being the best of the open teams for CAL, and multiple CAL Invite teams in CEVO M; Vandal.css will have to hold their own. They should have no problem doing it with the experience and talent they have.

Both of these teams were generally found on trial and error. While seeking teams that had similar personalities, the same mindset and ultimately the same goal is required: Winning. Along with sportsmanship, fitting in and good conduct is what this team is mainly interested in, and is going to be known for.

In the near and distant future, Vandal as an organization wants to expand. We want to become bigger and better much like any successful business/organization does. We are proud to have these two teams be the leading roles to where we plan to go and stay as a team, or even more so as a family. As said previously, the Vandal community will be known for winning, and being sportsmanlike while doing so. The caliber of the teams we have is massive, and I have no doubts, if's, and's, or but's about these teams.
